La elección de esta canción fue debido a diferentes motivos, primero y principal sus pegadizos ritmos de rock n' roll, sumado a que es considerada una de las primeras canciones de rock and roll puro de las que se tiene constancia.
La canción es la versión rock and roll de el sueño americano - un pobre chico del campo tiene el sueño de convertirse en una estrella a base de arduo esfuerzo y su destreza tocando la guitarra, por lo que considero que cualquier persona que este interesada en aprender música, como yo, se puede sentir identificado.
Por eso exiten varias adaptaciones de grupos y péliculas conocidas de este tema como ser: Volver al fúturo, Green Day, Jimy Hendrix, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, AC/DC, Aerosmith, entre otros.
